Initial Visit
Your initial visit is very important to us and to you. It is our chance to get acquainted with you and your dental needs, and your chance to become familiar with our office personnel and policies. We will need about an hour for this appointment. The following is what you can expect:
Our receptionist will greet you and ask you to fill out a complete medical history which is designed to acquaint us with any health problems that might be pertinent to your dental treatment. Feel free to ask her any general questions about the office or office policies.
A dental assistant will take a full set of dental x-rays. These x-rays will assist Dr. Sanders in detecting any tooth decay and the condition of the teeth and supporting structures.
Dr. Sanders will perform a thorough examination of your teeth and all soft tissues.
After the exam, Dr. Sanders will talk to you about the dental treatment needed and point out problem areas on your x-rays.
The receptionist will schedule a consultation with you regarding a total treatment plan, financial arrangements and appointments. Please ask questions at any time. We want you to understand and be comfortable with all aspects of your dental treatment.

Fees
Our fees are not based on whether or not you have dental insurance. They are determined by the complexity of the procedure and, in the case of sedation charges, the length of time needed for the procedures to be done. We will be happy to submit your dental insurance forms for you. Please have your portion of the form completed and signed. You are responsible for the charges regardless of insurance coverage. Dr. David Sanders is a participating provider of many PPO insurance companies.For your convenience, our office accepts Mastercard and Visa.
